Please read these rules before entering the McGutDesigns.com Artist Contest. You agree that, by submitting an entry, you will be bound by these Official Rules and you acknowledge that you satisfy all Contest eligibility requirements.
Participants must also sign a consent (acknowledging and abiding by the rules) form for their child or for themselves if they are an adult. If multiple people from the same household will be entering the contest using the same email address then the name of the contestant should be in the Title bar and it should be obvious. An appointed number will be assigned to each contestant.
Eligibility. If you are an individual legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and are 18 years of age or older (or a minor with a parent/guardian permission) at the time of entry, you are eligible to enter the Contest. The Contest will be void where prohibited and is not open to employees or independent contractors, or immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren) or those living in the same household of employees or independent contractors of McGutDesigns.com.
Contest Period. The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. (PT) on January 5, 2023 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. (PT) on June 5, 2023 (the “Contest Period”). The Contest Period is divided into five (5) monthly periods (each, a “Monthly Period”).
Each Monthly Period will begin at 12:00:01 a.m. (PT) on the fifth of each month (January-June) and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. (PT) on the fourth of that respective month. That is 5 different monthly entry opportunities.
Contest ends 6/5/2023 (see above). Limit of one (1) entry per person per month using only one (1) e-mail address throughout the Contest Period. Multiple entries in any one month will disqualify you for that month.
To participate, follow these rules:
For each entry, you must include your name, age and email address so we can contact you. Each contestant must use the same email address for each submission. Different emails from the same contestant will disqualify that contestant.
Not every quality may be considered, based on the age of the contestant.
Any entry that contains profanity, obscene gesturing, nudity, violence, degrading comments, or political or racist views will not be accepted. This decision will be based upon the Judge’s sole discretion.

This contest is designed for both children (ages 5 and older), older children and adults, so there will be 3 different winners (one for children 5-8 as well as 9-13, then another group ages 14 and older). The maximum age to be considered a child for this contest is 13. All contestants ages 14 and older will be considered part of the adult group.
The age of the contestant will be based on their age of their last submission (sorry, you can’t be a contestant in two age groups).
All contestants under the age of 18 must have their parent or guardian’s permission to enter this contest. Any entry from a minor that is not also approved by their parent or guardian will be disqualified.
Within 30 days of the conclusion of the entry period, the judges will choose the finalists (minimum of 10 per group). Should your work be chosen, you will be invited to the final stage. This will include a quick Zoom meeting to show the judges how you created it. More information will be provided if you are chosen to be a finalist. All minors must have their parent/guardian on any Zoom meeting.
Winners- Within 10 days after meeting all the finalists, the winners will be chosen by the panel of judges and their decision is final.
The prizes for each group will be:

Honorable mentions will receive one or more of the following: iron-on transfers, t-shirts, certificates, trophies and/or medals.
